The Wingbeats Workshops. Poetry writing workshops from Wingbeats: Exercises and Practice in Poetry. Katherine Durham Oldmixon — Katherine Durham Oldmixon is the daughter of a research chemist who changed his major from music, and an English teacher who first studied nursing. A much-published poet, she teaches creative writing and literature and directs the writing program at historic Huston-Tillotson University in east Austin, Texas. This workshop is taking place Sun 1/15, Sun 1/29, Sun 2/12, and Sun 2/26 from 4-6PM each day. Start: 7:00 pm
Join Clint and Brian C. the last Sunday of every month as we use wonderful books to travel the world. We're actually taking a break from a specific region at the moment, and instead choosing to read books on our "to read" list.
