Join us this morning for a storytime workshop all about the Zach Scott's Theatre upcoming live production of Laura Numeroff's classic story of a curious & compulsive mouse, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. Join us for Darwin Day, a celebration of evolution and Charles Darwin himself from the Center for Inquiry Austin. We will have events for all ages. In our amphitheater, kids can learn about fossils where we’ll have a bunch on display. Up on our third floor, we will have talks on evolution for adults. Rebecca Lewis, UT Anthropology, will be speaking on "The Evolution of Social Systems." Ernie Lundelius, Emeritus Professor from UT Austin, will give the talk: "I Dig Fossils". Steve Bratteng, from CFI Austin, will be giving the talk "Dr Darwin Makes a House Call" about the concept of evolutionary or Darwinian medicine. Join us today from 1-3PM. |
