How Our Events Work

BookPeople is proud to host over 300 events every year. Our events are free and open to the public, unless otherwise stated.

To get a book signed at one of our events, a copy of the event book must be purchased from BookPeople. By purchasing a book from BookPeople, you are not only supporting a local, independent business, but you are also showing publishers that they should continue sending authors to BookPeople. Think of it this way: you wouldn't bring your own beer to a bar, would you?

For events where we anticipate large crowds, wristbands may be required in order to join the signing line. Occasionally we may also ticket events. In both cases, information as to when wristbands/tickets are available will be found on that event's specific page on our website.

Husker Du guitarist and vocalist BOB MOULD will speak and sign his new memoir, See a Little Light: The Trail of Rage and Melody.

We'll be rocking it out with Bob Mould when he's here with his new book that tells his story for the first time - from the anger and passion of the early hardcore scene, to Husker Du's rise to fame, to addictions to drugs and alcohol, achieving sobriety, and even a surprising detour into the world of pro wrestling.

Event Guidelines: Only books will be signed at this event. No memorabilia will be permitted. The speaking portion of this event is free and open to the public, however in order to join the signing line and meet Bob Mould, you must purchase a copy of the event book from BookPeople.
