How Our Events Work

BookPeople is proud to host over 300 events every year. Our events are free and open to the public, unless otherwise stated.

To get a book signed at one of our events, a copy of the event book must be purchased from BookPeople. By purchasing a book from BookPeople, you are not only supporting a local, independent business, but you are also showing publishers that they should continue sending authors to BookPeople. Think of it this way: you wouldn't bring your own beer to a bar, would you?

For events where we anticipate large crowds, wristbands may be required in order to join the signing line. Occasionally we may also ticket events. In both cases, information as to when wristbands/tickets are available will be found on that event's specific page on our website.

John Heilemann and Mark Halperin - Game Change

  • Adult Event
03/05/2010 12:00 pm

BookPeople is excited to host best-selling authors John Heilemann
and Mark Halperin today with Game Change. In Game Change, John Heilemann and
Mark Halperin, two of the country’s leading political reporters, use their
unrivaled access to pull back the curtain on the Obama, Clinton, McCain, and
Palin campaigns. Based on hundreds of interviews with the people who lived
the story, this is a reportorial tour de force that reads like a fast-paced
novel and is an intimate portrait of some of the most powerful and
fascinating figures in American life. Today at noon.
