How Our Events Work

BookPeople is proud to host over 300 events every year. Our events are free and open to the public, unless otherwise stated.

To get a book signed at one of our events, a copy of the event book must be purchased from BookPeople. By purchasing a book from BookPeople, you are not only supporting a local, independent business, but you are also showing publishers that they should continue sending authors to BookPeople. Think of it this way: you wouldn't bring your own beer to a bar, would you?

For events where we anticipate large crowds, wristbands may be required in order to join the signing line. Occasionally we may also ticket events. In both cases, information as to when wristbands/tickets are available will be found on that event's specific page on our website.

LISA FRITSCH - Obama, Tea Parties & God

  • Adult Event
11/11/2011 7:00 pm
 Tea Party Activist
LISA FRITSCH
will speak and sign her new book,
Obama, Tea Parties & God:
What it Means to be an American, a Patriot, and a Christian
.

Lisa Fritsch, who has appeared on Fox News Channel's shows with Glenn Beck and Neil Cavuto, delves into the extent of the power of the Tea Party on our current political situation, the experience of electing the nation's first African-American President and his subsequent performance, and the spiritual ties she perceives between the course of politics in this nation and God.

Lisa Fritsch is a conservative activist and speaker who garnered national attention for standing up to the NAACP for accusing the Tea Party of being racist, and for speaking out on the “diabolical” ways of liberalism on Glenn Beck.  Fritsch is also a political commentator who is a frequent guest on “Your World with Neil Cavuto” where she has commented on everything from the GM IPO to the Tea Party platform.  She is the founder and President of ACTS Alive (Americans for Christian Conservative Truth) an organization and think tank that seeks to correctly define the truth about conservative ideas in all forms of media. Lisa Fritsch is a long serving member of the national advisory council for the Project 21 black leadership network, a think tank to advance the voices of black conservatives. Fritsch is a BIG Government contributor to Breitbart and has written for The Tea Party Review, Freedom’s Journal, American Thinker, Townhall.com, and The Daily Caller. Fritsch is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. She lives with her family in Austin, Texas.
