About The Directive:
Two brothers, millions of dollars--and the heist of a lifetime.

After escaping the corrupt back rooms of Washington, DC, Mike Ford is again playing a dangerous game--this time the stakes are even higher.

Mike's brother is in over his head in a powerful conspiracy to steal a secret worth billions of dollars from the little-known but unbelievably influential trading desk at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. In an effort to help, Mike soon finds himself trapped by the dangerous men in charge--and forced to call on all the skills of his criminal past in order to escape.

In this sharp, pulse-pounding sequel to THE 500, Mike Ford again stars as the cunning and courageous ex-con man with a big heart, and Matthew Quirk confirms that he is one of the most exciting thriller writers at work today.

Matthew Quirk studied history and literature at Harvard College. After graduation, he joined The Atlantic and spent five years at the magazine reporting on a variety of subjects including crime, private military contractors, the opium trade, terrorism prosecutions, and international gangs. Quirk's first novel was The 500, which is currently in development as a major motion picture. He lives in Washington, D.C.

About One Minute Gone:

Porter Hall has a nice life, but someone wants to destroy it. He is financially secure, though not rich by Manhattan standards, and as the single father of six-year-old twins his days are full, but routine.

Until he knows who wants to take him down, and why, he can't stop them. As he begins to dig, he realizes he is up against wealth and power, and even his best efforts may be futile.

David Hansard grew up in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and attended the University of Wyoming before moving to Texas to attend graduate school at the University of Texas at Austin. After doing that for a few years, he moved to New York City for a couple of years and ended up staying for twenty-four. He returned to Austin for a few years, and now lives and writes in Colorado.
