MysteryPeople presents Beer & Tunes with Ace Atkins - The Ranger

Join us when MysteryPeople hosts a party with acclaimed mystery novelist ACE ATKINS. Austin musician Jesse Sublett will set the mood with his bluesy folk sound, and we'll have plenty of beer and snacks on hand to keep the party going, so don't miss it. It's always a good time when Ace comes to town.
In his latest novel The Ranger, which Ace will speak about and sign at this shindig, Atkins debuts a new character, Quinn Colson. Colson is an Afghan war vet who cleans up his Mississippi burg Walking Tall style. His book deftly uses the crime/action genre to look at the ravages on small town America. Ace is a sharp and charming author on the rise, who has just been tapped to continue Robert B Parker's Spencer series.
