ABOUT NOEL CROOK

Noel Crook is the author of Salt Moon, winner of the Crab Orchard Series in Poetry first book award, and the chapbook Canyon. Crook's poems have appeared in Best New Poets, New Letters, Shenandoah and other journals. She is the poetry editor for Sun Editions and lives in Raleigh, North Carolina.

ABOUT NAOMI SHIHAB NYE

Naomi Shihab Nye is a poet, songwriter, and novelist. She was born to a Palestinian father and American mother. Although she regards herself as a "wandering poet", she refers to San Antonio as her home. She was the recipient of the 2013 NSK Neustadt Prize for Children's Literature.
