Jennifer Ziegler

Jennifer Ziegler is a writer, speaker, mother, spicy food lover, movie buff, and fan of all things wacky-yet-real. She was born in Temple, Texas, but moved with her parents to Anchorage, Alaska, before her first birthday. When she was five years old, she wrote her first poem in her kindergarten writing journal. When Jennifer was eight years old, her family moved back to Texas, where she continued to read and write. After high school she attended the University of Texas, where she earned degrees in journalism and English. While there she fell in love with Austin and its many cool hangouts, music venues, swimming holes, and hip people. Upon graduation, she decided to settle there, working as a freelance reporter, editorial assistant, and middle school language arts teacher. Jennifer is the author of the books Sass and Serendipity, How NOT to Be Popular, and Alpha Dog.
