How to Get Started Buying Kobo eBooks

1. Set up your Kobo account through this link

By setting up an account through the link above, or through a Kobo eReader purchased at BookPeople, you are affiliated with BookPeople and are supporting your independent bookstore with every eBook purchase. If you already have a Kobo account and would like to support BookPeople with your eBook purchases, you can do so by setting up a new Kobo account through the above link to Kobo's website. Then, when you next use your device, sign out of the old account and sign in using the new account name. You can then search and buy eBooks either through the device or through the web, and continue your much-appreciated support of this store.

2. Download the appropriate Kobo app for your specific device. Kobo ebooks can be downloaded on virtually any device.

Kobo ebooks can be read on iOS devices, your nook, your Sony eReader, on virtually any device (except for Kindles). Once you download the free Kobo app to your smartphone, desktop, or tablet, your eBooks, PDFs, ePubs, and even your bookmarks, are in sync – start on one device and pick up on another and never lose your place. Kobo apps are available at kobobooks.com, but first make sure you set up your Kobo account through this link so that when you purchase eBooks you are supporting this store.

Click here for step-by-step instructions for downloading Kobo eBooks to your specific device.
