Through accessible cartooning, the husband-and-wife duo brings a light, playful touch to topics like water pressure, plumbing, and fossilization. Readers will feel like scientists and explorers with each page turn.
This creative duo is the one behind the bestselling “Maps” — and has come up with another book that will become an object of obsession. Kids (and parents) can pour over it much in the manner of the old Richard Scarry books.
Under Water, Under Earth is terrific, well-written, profusely illustrated, informative, engaging.
