Tiny Tails to You! is back at BookPeople for a petting zoo storytime! Join us on the 2nd floor of the store for stories and an animal show and tell. Entry to the amphitheater petting zoo is free and timed by group. Arrive early to get your ticket!
Heartsong Music is celebrating over 20 years of bringing Music Together to families in Austin. Music Together® is the internationally recognized early childhood music and movement program for children from birth through grade two and the adults who love them. They are back at BookPeople to share the fun. Come join us for some music and movement!
Mrs. Purple Urpleloves storytime! She loves storytime so much, that she is bringing her her fun-filled show back to BookPeople. In addition to reading some great books, Mr. and Mrs. Purple Urple will bring music, singing, magic tricks, prizes, and more to storytime on Saturday. Come join the fun!
Join us for a special storytime event with Austin Camerata! This local string ensemble performs short pieces of music to accompany storytime books so that children can use their imagination to create their own story. Our event will conclude with a Q & A and an instrument "petting zoo" where children of all ages can touch the stringed instruments. Esteban the Green Crayon, from the book, The Day the Crayons Quit, will make a special appearance for this storytime experience! Come a little early to take a picture with Esteban, maybe the best looking crayon in the box!
