Please read Q+As below before placing an order for curbside pickup.
All orders must be placed online and paid for in advance.
Curbside Pickup hours are 10am - 6pm daily, except on Wednesdays when we are CLOSED between 2-3 pm for shift change.

Q: Can I place an order over the phone or by email?
A: At this time all orders can only be placed online through bookpeople.com and must be paid for in advace with a credit card, e-gift card or PayPal. When checking out, choose CURBSIDE PICKUP as the delivery method.
Q: Can I place an order for CoffeePeople for curbside pick-up?
A: Yes! Please go to https://coffee-people.square.site/ to place an order. Most orders take 10 minutes or less to fulfill.
Q: Can I do a return via Curbside Pickup?
A: If the product you are returning was in an order placed through bookpeople.com-- YES! Go to a designated curbside pickup spot, on the northside of BookPeople, and text the details of your return and the order number to the phone number on the curbside signage. You will be walked through the zero contact return process. If your item was purchased prior to the store closing (March 21) please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
Q: Is there designated parking for Curbside Pickup?
A: YES! The parking spots on either side of the covered walkway just north of BookPeople will have signage, including the parking spot number. When your order is ready for pickup, you will receive an email from us that contains instructions on how to participate in zero contact pickup.
Q: Once I arrive at the store, how do I get my Curbside Pickup order?
A: When your order is ready for pickup, you'll get an email from us. That email will contain detailed pickup instructions.
Q: What does "zero contact" transfer mean?
A: Zero contact curbside delivery allows us to fulfill your order while maintaining social distancing consistent with CDC recommendations, including allowing customers to avoid any direct, close face-to-face contact with employees.
Q: Once I arrive at the store, how quickly will I get my order?
A: As quickly as possible. Exactly how quickly you get your order will depend upon factors like order volume and staffing levels. Please rest assured, we're moving as fast as we can while still observing the strict health and safety protocols we’ve put in place. Thank you for being patient with booksellers.
Q: Can I use my Star Reader or Birthday coupon for a curbside pickup order?
A: Yes! Please make a note in your order that you have a coupon then when you come pick up your order, bring the coupon to place in the basket that will be used for zero contact pickup.
Q: What measures are being taken regarding employee, customer and community health during Curbside Pickup?
A: The health of our employees and community is books are our priority. We’ve designed the Curbside Pickup process to allow us to fulfill your order while maintaining social distancing consistent with CDC recommendations. Our employee protocols also include measures like equipment disinfection, hand-washing, and the wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE) like masks and gloves.
Q: What products are available via Curbside Pickup?
A: Anything that is available to order from bookpeople.com
Q: Can I place a Curbside Pickup order directly from the parking lot?
A: No, we are not accepting any walk-ups. All orders must be placed online and paid for in advance. We will email you when your order is ready for pick-up.
Q: Can someone else pick up my Curbside Pickup order for me?
A: Sure! They will need your order number to participate in your curbside pickup.
Q: How can I get a same-day Curbside Pickup?
A: Availability of same-day pickup depends upon the item, and what time of day you place the order.
Q: If my order has a book in stock at the store and an item that is special ordered, can I pick-up the part of my order that is in stock before the special order item arrives?
Q: I just placed an order for an out-of-stock item. How long before it will be ready for pick-up?
A: Special orders will take 5-10 business to arrive at the store and we'll notify you when it gets here. You will receive an email once your order has arrived that will contain the zero contact curbside pickup instructions.
