BETH REVIS in conversation with K.A. HOLT, & P.J. HOOVER

Bestselling Author BETH REVIS

in conversation about her books

Across the Universe and A Million Suns

with fellow YA Sci Fi authors

We love Beth Rethis! She is a truly awesome, out-of-this world author, and we are thrilled to welcome her to BookPeople to discuss the second book in her incredible, bestselling Across the Universe trilogy, A Million Suns.

Once again, Beth mesmerizes readers with a brilliantly crafted mystery filled with action, suspense, romance, and deep philosophical questions. And this time it all builds to one mind-bending conclusion: They have to get off this ship.

Beth will be joined at this event by local Austin authors K. A. Holt and P. J. Hoover, who will talk about their books, as well. It's going to be a wonderful afternoon, we hope you can join us for this special event!

K.A. HOLT is a writer, a terrible cook, and a mother of three (not necessarily in that order). When she’s not busy imagining how she would survive a zombie apocalypse, she’s busy imagining how she will survive the day. Kirkus and Publishers Weekly praised her first book for children, Mike Stellar: Nerves of Steel, with words like precocious and complex, and savvy and sharp.

On this panel, she'll be discussing Brains for Lunch: A Zombie Novel in Haiku?!

P. J. HOOVER first fell in love with Greek mythology in sixth grade thanks to the book Mythology by Edith Hamilton. After a fifteen year bout as an electrical engineer designing computer chips for a living, P. J. decided to take her own stab at mythology and started writing books for kids and teens. Her published middle grade fantasy novels, The Emerald Tablet, The Navel of the World, and The Necropolis, chronicle the adventures of a boy who discovers he’s part of two feuding worlds hidden beneath the sea.

On this panel, she'll be discussing The Emerald Tablet.

In order to have anything signed at a BookPeople event, a copy of the event book must be purchased from BookPeople. If you purchase your book from BookPeople. in advance of the event, please save your receipt and present it at the event.
