Welcome to the future. "2 Billion Under 20" is a book, online community, and movement inspired by the 2 billion people in the world currently at or under the age of twenty. They stand for Millennials, Gen Z'ers, and those who want to better understand them and their unique potential. Tonight, three of the Millenials featured in this book, Jared Kleinert, Stacy Ferreira and Zoe Wolszon, are here to share, inspire and take care of business as they discuss their efforts to shape and change the world.
ABOUT JARED KLEINERT
Jared Kleinert is an extremely passionate, driven, and resourceful entrepreneur who has been featured in Forbes, Fast Company, TechCrunch, Huffington Post, and TEDxYouth Miami. At 15, Jared founded NowIGetIt.com, an edtech company that gave students access to tutors around the world via webchat. At 16, he founded Synergist, a crowdsourcing site for social entrepreneurs to meet, collaborate, and share ideas for social movements and enteprises. Jared attends and speak at various events around the country focused on young entrepreneurship, social good, and lean startup methodology. He advises a couple youth-focused projects/programs, has spoken with brands like Samsung and Office Depot in order to help them better capture the Millennial marketplace, was one of the youngest mentors ever at a Startup Weekend event, and was a US Delegate to the 2013 Global Entrepreneurship Summit in Malaysia.
ABOUT STACY FERREIRA
Stacey Ferreira is an American entrepreneur. Ferreira is best known for co-founding MySocialCloud.com, an online bookmark vault and password manager whose investors include Sir Richard Branson, Jerry Murdock, and Alex Welch. She has been featured on and contributed to several news outlets, including The Huffington Post, Women 2.0, Business Insider, TechCrunch, and Forbes.
ABOUT ZOE WOLSZON
Zoe Wolszon is a biomedical engineer and EMT from Austin, Texas with a voracious appetite for travel, problem-solving, new people, and interesting adventures. She is passionate about exploring the intersections of biomedical engineering (in particular, innovative medical devices), public health, business, and entrepreneurship, and how those intersections can be leveraged to improve health on a global scale.Since July, 2014, she has been working as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant and cultural ambassador in Daegu, South Korea. She will be in Korea for one year before returning to the U.S. to work as an Associate Consultant for the Boston Consulting Group in San Francisco.
