Shattered

Austin author Mari Mancusi comes to BookPeople with her latest from her Scorched series.  Shattered follows Trinity, Connor, and Caleb as they try to keep their baby dragon from being discovered. If you love dragons or great books or both, no matter what this is an event you don't want to miss!

About Shattered:
Trinity, Connor, and Caleb are trying to stay under the radar, holed up in an abandoned West Texas farmhouse. Their only problem is Emmy: a baby dragon that's growing like crazy. When Emmy is caught on tape and the video goes viral, they find themselves on the run again. Their only hope comes from an old map leading to a man who has come from the future to help them. But with the government hot on their heels and Caleb's growing addiction to spending time in the Nether world, will they be able to reach him in time? And will keeping Emmy safe end up being too high a price for Trinity to pay?

Mari Mancusi
always wanted a dragon as a pet. Unfortunately the fire insurance premiums proved a bit too large and her house a bit too small? So she chose to write about them instead. Today she works as an award-winning young adult author and freelance television producer, for which she has won two Emmys. When not writing, Mari enjoys goth clubbing, cosplay, watching cheesy (and scary) horror movies, and her favorite guilty pleasure, videogames. A graduate of Boston University, she lives in Austin, Texas with her husband and young daughter.

In order to have anything signed at a BookPeople event, a copy of the event book must be purchased from BookPeople. If you purchase your book from BookPeople in advance of the event, please save your receipt and present it at the event.

Thank you for supporting Mari Mancusi & your local independent bookstore!
