MysteryPeople Presents

NOIR AT THE BAR
at OPAL DIVINE'S featuring:

TIM O'MARA

DAN O'SHEA

& JONATHAN WOODS

The only thing most crime fiction fans love as much as books is drinking, so it only makes sense that someone would combine both. Started in Philadelphia a few years, Noir At The Bar has made its way across the country from Philadelphia to LA. MysteryPeople is giving it an Austin spin on July 7th at Opal Divine's on South Congress.

We'll have a great line up of hard-boiled authors on the scene reading from and discussing their works, featuring Tim O'Mara, Dan O'Shea, and Jonathan Woods.

So come out to Opal's (3601 South Congress) at 7PM and help us celebrate a new tradition - Austin's Noir at the Bar.

TIM O'MARA, author of the Barry Award-nominated Sacrifice Fly, is a teacher in the New York City public school system. He lives in Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen with his wife and daughter. Crooked Numbers is his second mystery.

Dan O’Shea is a Chicago-area writer. His first two thrillers, Penance and Mammon, will be published by Exhibit A. He is also the author of Old School, a collection of short fiction published by Snubnose Press. Dan would be a handsome gent if he could just stop breaking his nose.

Jonathan Woods is a lawyer whose work has appeared in numerous literary publications and anthologies. Author of the award-winning Bad Juju & Other Tales of Madness and Mayhem. Phone Call from Hell is his third collection of short stories.

In order to have anything signed at a BookPeople event, a copy of the event book must be purchased from BookPeople. If you purchase your book from BookPeople in advance of the event, please save your receipt and present it at the event.

Thank you for supporting Tim O'Mara, Dan O'Shea, Jonathan Woods, MysteryPeople & your local independent bookstore!
