Elizabeth the Dreamer

Join us this morning for a very special guest storytime with author Beth Guillot! Elizabeth the Dreamer is about a young girl whose allergies and asthma keep her indoors on even the most beautiful of days. She spends her time dreaming about the world outside...and all the wonders it might hold! Storytime starts at 11:30 AM, and will be read in English and Spanish!

Elizabeth The Dreamer is a story of a young girl that is faced with health issues that confine her indoors to keep her healthy. She spends her time daydreaming about the world outside. She turns her daydreaming into a career as an architect.

This book is the first of a planned series of children’s picture books that follow the character Elizabeth The Dreamer with her buddy Jim the Contractor and Sam the Engineer.  They will embark on architectural adventures as a team and teach kids about the world of architecture.

Beth Guillot was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was diagnosed with asthma at the age of three. She spent most of her childhood indoors due to her health issues. Her family always encouraged her creativity and imagination. She attended Louisiana State University where she received her Bachelor of Architecture degree. She is a registered architect and currently lives in Austin, Texas.

If you cannot attend the event and would like to order a signed copy of the book, add the book to your cart and put SIGNED COPY in the comments field at checkout. We ship all over the world!
