The Tao of Bob

In October 2016, at the age of 52, I got something I never dreamed I would: A Good Dad. Bob was on the cusp of 88 when he said YES to chance, left his lifelong Midwest home, and move to my little ranch near Austin. Neither of us knew what to expect. Our only connection was his daughter Ellen. We figured it would be a short-term arrangement but fast realized we were best friends. The Tao of Bob is the tale of how Bob's endless love and reassurance rocks my world and helps heal my PTSD daily.
