If you participated in our Summer Reading Program this year, then today's the day to celebrate your reading success here at BookPeople!

Bring in your completed bookmark listing all six books you read this summer and claim your prize! You can also add your name to our wall of Summer Reading Stars, and hear about some great new books coming out this Fall. We'll also have pizza!

If you can't make it today, we also have another Summer Reading Celebration planned for Saturday, August 18 at 12pm.

How Our Events Work

BookPeople is proud to host over 300 events every year. Our events are free and open to the public, unless otherwise stated.

To get a book signed at one of our events, a copy of the event book must be purchased from BookPeople. By purchasing a book from BookPeople, you are not only supporting a local, independent business, but you are also showing publishers that they should continue sending authors to BookPeople. Think of it this way: you wouldn't bring your own beer to a bar, would you?

For events where we anticipate large crowds, wristbands may be required in order to join the signing line. Occasionally we may also ticket events. In both cases, information as to when wristbands/tickets are available will be found on that event's specific page on our website.
