ABOUT THE AUTHORS
May Cobb earned her MA in literature from San Francisco State University, and her essays and interviews have appeared in the Washington Post, the Rumpus, Edible Austin, and Austin Monthly. She is the author of the novels Big Woods and The Hunting Wives. A Texas native, she lives in Austin, Texas, with her family.
E.J. Wenstrom believes in complicated heroes, horrifying monsters, purple hair dye and standing to the right on escalators so the left side can walk. She writes dark speculative fiction for adults and teens, include Royal Palm Literary Awards’ Book of the Year, Mud, the first novel in her Chronicles of the Third Realm War series. When she isn’t writing fiction, E. J. Wenstrom is a regular contributor to DIY MFA and BookRiot, and co-hosts the FANTASY+GIRL Podcast. You can find her on Twitter @ejwenstrom.
Owen Egerton is the writer/director of three feature films: Follow, Blood Fest, and Mercy Black which premiered on Netflix this past spring. As a screenwriter, Egerton has written for Fox, Disney, and Warner Brothers, and HBO. He’s written several novels including The Book of Harold the Illegitimate Son of God and Hollow, which was named one of the Best Books of 2017 by NPR. Egerton is also one of the comics behind the Alamo Drafthouse’s Master Pancake Theater.
